Transmission of payment to a crypto payment processor

The payment processor's Bitcoin address, amount, and QR code are usually valid for only a few minutes to account for the rapidly changing exchange rate between fiat and cryptocurrencies. Usually 15 to 20 minutes.

If you send Bitcoin via whir, we will have to wait for the first confirmation. After this confirmation, we send bitcoin privately to the payment processor.

However, if this initial confirmation takes longer than the time specified by the payment provider, the provider will take back your payment.

Therefore, we do not recommend sending Bitcoin directly to crypto payment providers. Instead, we recommend anonymizing your Bitcoin in advance.

Here is how to go about it.

1.  Create a new, anonymous wallet (with a new seed).

2. Send Bitcoin from your private wallet via whir to this anonymous wallet.

3. When the Bitcoin arrives in the anonymous wallet, you can send it from this wallet directly to the payment processor.

If you still have funds in your anonymous wallet, never return them directly to your private wallet, as this would compromise the privacy of your previous transactions.
